Not many of us can attain this level of recall; but Tim McGregor attains it maximally, and even for those readers who didn't grow up in these exact circumstances or in this decade, what these young folks endure is still vivified creatively and brought to vivid defined Life. WASPS IN THE ICE CREAM will surely be considered a masterpiece of this particular subgenre, as well as the equivalent of a cautionary Medieval Morality Play.
