90s kid

I'm a 90s kid, oh what a time.
When everything was simple and sublime.
We played outside until it got dark,
And watched cartoons like Doug and Rugrats.

Our music came on cassette tapes,
And we wore neon colors with no escape.
The Spice Girls were our girl power queens,
And boy bands ruled our teenage dreams.

We had Tamagotchis and Beanie Babies,
And Gameboys for our gaming hobbies.
Our phones had cords that tangled and curled,
And we had to dial up for the internet world.

But we made the most of what we had,
With our imaginations, we were never sad.
We traded pogs and played with Skip-Its,
And rollerblading was the coolest of hits.

We had a world that was different then,
Before social media and constant trends.
But we'll always cherish those memories,
Of being a 90s kid, oh what a breeze.
