Green Earth

Green is a euphemism for life

We can decipher that assuredly

Yet we aren’t sure why we see the other colors

Unsure of what they foretell

We seek nothing; but a release from thought

However the Green Earth permits

Then we think further, where the blasphemous blue hues lie adjacent to the good green

Perhaps Earth is blue? Or maybe it’s still green

We’ll never know for sure, with Earth’s silent confide

All we know is what we are given

The earth has no secrets; it’s foundation is clear

Just as the place we hope to find in it

A clear picture of near perfection; although not clear or perfect

It’s there in our plain sights
