I once wrote 99 poems within a brief amount of time. Not long ago I opened that folder and read each one. I established a rhythm when I read one, deleted it, and read the next one and deleted it. I had no idea what the point was of 99% of the poems.
A contest to write a poem popped up and I thought I would write one. The reviewer for the contest told me they were confused. I read the poem again. I, too, was confused. I rewrote the entire poem changing the name Chill to Salvation.
Recently I reworked one of the 99 that survived. It is called Pencil.
If you are a bona fide poet, read mine with patience.
