Looking for a co-writer to help me finish my fantasy anthology novel. |
I find myself in a bit of a dilemma. For several years now, I have been wanting to write and publish my own book. I was often told I was a fantastic writer in school, and thought it wouldn't be much of a problem to get my first draft done. But the thing is, I kept either thinking of more ideas for other stories I wanted to do, or kept getting distracted by one thing or another. I've finally settled on a solid concept for the book I wish to publish, but still, I can't seem to actually finish it. I've decided to write a fantasy anthology type of book, various stories set in the same Dungeons and Dragons type of world. I even have some outlines and a couple of the stories already completed, as well as background lore for the world. But I've finally come to realize that this project may be beyond my ability to complete alone. So, I am posting this message as a call for help, if you will. I need somebody willing to collaborate with me, preferably someone who is already a published author. If you're into stories like Lord of the Rings or Game of Thrones, and are willing to aid me, I would gladly share any profits with you once everything is said and done. I'm not trying to be the next Tolkien, but I do want somebody with at least a bit of experience with writing this kind of work. If you or someone you know might be up to the job, please contact me, and we can work out the details. |
