A Garden Bar Plan

Beneath an optimistic sunset,
the outdoor table was formally dressed;
an excited breeze set the tablecloth hem to tremble.

Other chairs jealously watched,
while our candles joyfully tittered.
The music was just beginning: that John Legend song...

The tailored menu ruminated,
pondering promises of future delights.
Chilled out, the champagne reclined in the wine bucket.

Near the proudly gleaming cutlery,
amid a confetti celebration of rose petals:
there waited a hand-on-heart hopeful velvet ring box…
