There will be

If we are lucky.
There is never enough
time
To truly explore life.
We live like tadpoles
In a well.
We don’t even know
What is beyond
The Stone walls
Or the small slice
Of the sky
That we, in awe, view
Both day then at night
Yet we DO
have enough
Time
If we give it a try
To hope our tomorrows
Are better
Our view of the world
Wider
Our love deeper
and
Our memory swiped
And no looking
Back.
