A shopping list, the universe I gave
Thinking, it would never come true
I listed attributes, of three I knew
One who rests in the grave
One past, I rather eschew
One a friend, of music clave


The grave, soft, gentle and kind
He who tamed my mind
Patient and loving, like a rock
Helped me the riddle of me, unlock


One past, giving and fun
Made me want to live in the sun
Spontaneous, free spirit, no limit
Showing me to be less rigid


One a friend, interesting and intelligent
Imparting knowledge, in my element
So much information on topics vast
New ideas make my mind race fast


Then came you completely out of the blue
Sparked a memory I could not remember
Smouldering in the back of my mind, an ember
You were charming but I chose you to eschew


A picture formed, a list came to mind
To talk to you, my fate would be signed
From my triune, I manifested you
