I'm in charge of taking care of my wife. I take this responsibility very seriously as It started in earnest in 2016 when she had her first brain tumor removed and was reinforced when the second and third tumors were removed in 2018 and 2020. I assist her with daily activities most people take for granted. I am fortunate I can spend my days with her since she began Disability in 2016 and I have been on Disability since 2014 due to brain lesions causing seizures.

My favorite woodland animal is the Thirteen-lined ground squirrel because it reminds me of the Prairie Dogs of the South. It is well known for standing upright to survey its domain, diving down into its burrow when it senses danger, then sometimes poking out its nose and giving a shrill bird-like trill. One of the many nicknames it has acquired is the Grinnie due to its facial features resembling a grin.
