If you're really lucky, your grandpa has a holiday cottage in a beautiful hill station and you go there every summer, maybe more often. Sometimes, your parents and Nanny carry you to the backseat of the car - and, having fallen asleep at home, you wake up in the holiday cottage. There are long walks and sumptuous meals and a tent to pitch in the garden and the caretaker's seven children to play with. There is a lake to row on and hoop-la stalls to cheer at. There are horses to ride and a well to draw water from.
Once, I had it all
Being young, I did not know
Treasure - for granted
