Memories

Are something we create as we travel down life's many highways. It’s something we all share, the ability to make memories. Some are good and some are bad but they are our very own, When we look back and think about the past our memories remind us of where we've been and who we are!

When I think of my memories, it brings a smile to my face. I spend my time thinking of the good memories and leave the bad ones to another time. It doesn't take much to make me chuckle, thinking of the roads I've traveled. I would hate to loose those memories because of an illness.

Alzheimer's is a robber and a thief because it steels those memories. You've been making memories all your life and poof they're gone! That is scary and I hope I never have that experience. It's not just the lose of memories but you loose the ability to know who you are, and what made you the person you see in the mirror.

Our lives are made up by the memories we create. They give us a chance to look back and see where we've been and look forward to what’s ahead. The choices we make, determine the kind of memories we will have; headed down the highway of our lives. Keeping and eye on the rear view mirror will help you navigate those highways.
