Sigh My parents were demanding, both deceased now. Can we talk about something else?

Do you have any brothers or sisters?
One of each, my brother is in jail, and my sister and I are estranged. As I've stated already, my parents were demanding.

What ethnic background do you come from? Is there any other ethnic background?
Irish, as you've probably guessed by my last name. There's a lot of sprinkles in there. Native American, Scottish, Welsh, but that's how most of are these days. A little of this, a little of that.

Where have you lived during your life?
North Caroline, but we moved to Michigan when I was a teen.

What schools did you attend?
Right out of high school, I went into carpentry at a community college, which was nothing fancy or worth noting.

What do you do for a living? How much do you make?
I own a construction business and I never discuss my salary. With anyone. You could say that I make a comfortable living.

I'm a fair man. I don't make promises I can't keep. And I'd rather stay home than spend my time wasting money in bars and restaurants.

I live alone in the house that I built.

Chloe Ryan. The woman is exasperating.

I have a friend, Doc. He's a solid guy. Of course, I spend time at work with the men on my crew, but I try to keep business and pleasure separate. And then there's Chloe.

The men that work for me and my customers.

My mom's a nurse, she's great. I cannot tell you about my father since I haven't seen him since I was five.

Retail. Always retail. I've managed clothing stores, party stores, cosmetics shops, sucked at being a hostess, though I am a people person. I make a modest living, about five dollars above minimum wage. It's a job.

People see me as someone with a good sense of humor and very optimistic. Plus, I'm sarcastic. I don't seem to have a filter and that rubs people the wrong way sometimes.
