It is about my recent observation during harvest of beans back at home.

ASSIMILATION
I live in you, but not your shadow,
Am joined in you, but we are of different type,
Our connection is like root nodules,
Our interest is in the wastes, of each other,
The love we share, is full of exchange

In our world, we exchange what we find,
For you are in the light,
And I am in the dark,
You, absorbing what is high above,
While am absorbing what is deep below,
That is our relation, assimilation
