As highly improbable.

The writer miffed
Sold the concept
To the Islamic State.

They waited until
A hurricane arrived
Flooding the state of Florida/

They drove around town
Dispensing LSD throughout
The floodwaters
And the city reservoirs.

The whole state freaked out
Like everyone who drank water
Went totally bonkers, b…s crazy.
Down LSD-inspired dark rabbit holes.

All amplified by the right-wing podcasters
Who spread misinformation and lies
Which added to the drug-fueled chaos.

The terrorists grinned
Marking it down
As another great blow
Against the Great Satan.

The CIA terminated
The thriller writer
With extreme prejudice.

So, here's a fun one.

October 17, 1814, witnessed the London Beer Flood , when breaking fermentation tanks at the Horse Shoe Brewery sent 320,000 gallons of porter flooding into the street in a 15 foot high wave.

At least eight people were killed in the flood, and a ninth a few days later from alcohol poisoning, having over-indulged in the free beer.

For tomorrow, write a story or poem set during such a flood through a city's streets.

It doesn't have to be beer; it can be anything spilled from enormous storage or transport containers. But make dealing with this unnatural flood the focus of your tale.

The CIA did commission thriller writers to write about potential threats. One person wrote about terrorists using planes as weapons forecasting 9-11. The CIA dismissed this scenario as too far-fetched to be taken seriously.
