a sweet old lady I met at a dinner party
I met her at a neighborhood dinner party
{which just happened to be hosted by my neighbor}
At first I noticed her smilin’ everywhere she turned her head
But when she’d lock eyes with someone!!
Oooohh her face and eyes would light up like fireworks!!

A short while later she comes over
And says “hi I see you walking a lot”
I said “yah I walk a fair amount”
She says somethin’ like “its good your able to do all that”
I said “yah I do what I have the strength for”

Then she says with a handshake
“well I’m Rose, I just wanted to say hi!”
I said “well hi Rose, I’m Wilder”.
I can’t remember what all was said after that
Except she soon turned away smilin’
And went back to her seat

I met her eyes a couple times after that
And her face would light up every time
Her face lit up anytime she locked eyes
With someone for more than about a second
I think I already said that but whatever *Smile*

Those who truly constantly smile in their hearts have a smile on their face that never completely fades!

When I was a little boy at Montessori School for Children, my Native American name was “Smiling Snowy Boy”, because according to a lot of folks there, I was always smiling: and it was snowing when I was born. *Smile*
