A poem for my wife
In all I do I sit and think about you,
The sun dips low, and skies fade to blue.
Memories weave through our shared days,
A love so deep, in countless ways.

When I see what you do, hear what you say,
I find peace that won’t stray.
This is living, wrapped in your light,
Holding you close through every night.

Every hour is precious, gentle and kind,
Your laughter echoes in the halls of my mind.
And as we breathe, as we move on through,
All I do is sit and think about you.

With you, days shine and nights feel right,
A perfect verse, a song taking flight.
This is living—not just getting by,
Together, forever, under the endless sky.

I can’t live without you, it’s clear,
It’s not really living if you’re not here.
Without you, my heart knows only despair,
For life without you is too much to bear.

We will never break, nor fall apart,
Your love is the rhythm that beats in my heart.
Here in my heart, our story stays true,
Where all I do is sit and live with you.
