Surviving a twister
Blazing and black as the wind starts to twist,
the skies are dark and evil.
Rain falls like it's poured from a bucket,
covering the ground like a glove.

Dust is flying through the dark sky,
dirt and debris enveloping all around.
Hiding under a table waiting for the sun.
Winds so fast and rain so hard are these real or dreams.

Then comes a moment when everything is quiet.
There comes a moment when the winds stop blowing
and the rain stops falling. Yes, there comes a moment.
A moment when the twister has passed and the sun shines again.
