Insomnia

I can’t sleep
I’ve had this problem for years
Usually I can ignore it

But it’s different this time

I scroll through endless pages of blood
Or maybe pills and powders
Or I just do it myself

My xacto knife is always within arms reach

I don’t tell my friends
Just another unsolvable problem
I go on saying I’m fine

And in my own way I am

This is my normal
No sleep barely eating hurting myself
That’s my comfortable

I am the same as I’ve always been
