A story about a girl who practices kick boxing (she was a giantess from the beginning) |
Lisa took a deep breath. It was after six in the evening, the sun was setting and a light breeze was lifting her blond hair. It was time to go. With a slightly awkward movement her flip-flops slipped off her feet. She needed to feel the contact of the ground with her skin. Lisa began to walk, slowly, the frenzy of that damned city could no longer involve her, now that she was approaching her destination. She continued to breathe deeply, concentrated on every little movement of her trained body. She couldn't afford to make a mistake, she would have only one chance, the perfect shot that only that evening she could attempt. She was getting deeper and deeper into the intricate labyrinth of buildings, the only sounds she could hear were those of the cars being smashed under her gigantic bare feet and a few sirens in the distance. In front of her loomed the square shape of the skyscraper that dominated the city with its sinister grandeur, and until that day also her life. As he got closer, he felt that things were going to change. Barry was one of the few people left in the office that evening, and he would be there for a long time. For a few minutes he had begun to feel a sense of unease that was getting worse and worse. He realized that this was due to an increasingly insistent vibration of many of the objects around him. He tried to ignore it, but now the oscillations seemed to involve the entire building. He got up from his desk to see what was happening. He looked down from the window, he was on the 40th floor, even seen from so high, people seemed to be in a panic, now the oscillations were becoming really strong. Barry couldn't understand the reasons for the alarm, he rushed to the other side of the building and finally saw her. It took him a few moments to recognize her, but it was unmistakably her, Lisa, his colleague. A strange girl, in the few times he had spoken to her he had sensed that she was dominated by a sort of persistent restlessness, by the desire to express a vitality that was instead continually suffocated by the pettiness of everyday life. She was frighteningly huge, with her size she humiliated all the buildings around which she moved, and at the same time frighteningly sensual, dressed in a red bodysuit and white pants. She was walking towards the skyscraper, he was sure of it. Lisa continued to remain focused on her goal, oblivious to everything that was happening around her. She had practiced for a long time kicking the sandbag at home, trying to imagine what the real sensation would be with the skyscraper. It was impossible to succeed, she would have to do it for real and it would happen soon. Barry was in a panic, he should have run away from there, perhaps there was still time to save himself, but a dark force forced him to the glass to contemplate the beautiful giantess who was now proceeding on the wide road that led to the building. The skyscraper was now shaking violently at every step Lisa took, Barry had to work hard to stay on his feet. Lisa reached the clearing in front of her target, looked down for a moment at the dozens of terrified people rushing away from her. The skyscraper was about as tall as her, but that didn't mean they would fight on equal terms. Just one shot, he couldn't miss. Barry stared open-mouthed at the giantess's silhouette that dominated the entire panorama. He knew Lisa hated that place. The girl was starting to make large movements to loosen her muscles, she was in no hurry, no one would be able to stop her. Barry watched in terror as the gigantic body rotated to the side, the torso flexed to the left side, while the right leg raised to his height with the bare foot preparing to crash flat against the trunk of the skyscraper, right where the man was standing. The mighty plant reached a couple of meters from the fragile windows of the skyscraper; Barry noticed that it was as long as the width of the building and that he himself was smaller than Lisa's little toe. This first move of the giantess unleashed panic among the tiny observers of the scene, who sensed that the skyscraper was running out of seconds. The shouts of the crowd further fueled Lisa's fury; Barry saw her right foot return, this time with greater force, stopping a few inches from the windows, making them vibrate with the immense displacement of air. Now the giantess was ready, anyone nearby with a camera had it pointed at her. A nice deep breath… Lisa went back to bending on her left side, lifting and drawing her right leg towards her; she violently contracted her muscles, which exploded like dynamite, throwing the colossal foot right where her tiny colleague was. Barry saw the plant coming towards him without slowing down in the slightest, in fact accelerating more and more: a fraction of a second later it would have been swept away. The petrified crowd watched Lisa's foot penetrate inside the structure, while the line of the skyscraper curved more and more until it broke into two large trunks that partially pulverized in the air, crashing dozens and dozens of meters away from their original position. Lisa remained for a few seconds to observe the cloud of dust that slowly settled. The skyscraper no longer existed, only four or five ruined floors remained. She approached the remaining stump with satisfaction, printing the imprint of her foot on it, the signature of her revenge. |
