Courage arises not from fearlessness, but from facing fear.
To be enmeshed in fear, engulfed in constant dread of the future, and to "scarper" instead of "accosting" it—when in truth, there is no way to be undaunted without having faced that dread, that fear that haunts you so—there's no way to be fearless without fear.
