The guilt of growing up in a broken home
I watch her,
As she buries the little girl,
All the little girl wanted was,
Happiness and a loving family.
She had so much hope
And her smile used to lit up the room


I watch her dig the grave too deep,
6 feet down,
8 feet down,
Now 10
As if to bury herself too from the guilt.
The little girl has now been buried
She sits beside the grave
And weeps
