Special nights that you don't remember in full fidelity but you know they were special.
A cup half full of juice
A feeling of levitating while sinking

A white skirt
Moves like a wind blown curtain
Draws one further down
Like a whirlpool circling

A midnight in December
A bare leg
Halos shine everywhere
A glowing clock blurred in the background

Then I can’t remember anything I’ve ever done
Or anything I aspire to do
There is only being here
There is only being now

Everything is peripheral
Except for the two blue circles
So close to me
A few electric inches
Making up the universe

Lips meeting
Like two in the desert
Drinking from a spring
A thirst that cannot be quenched

Fierce and aggressive
Nothing but animal instinct
Pushes time forward

A Polaroid of a moment
Forever stored in the chamber of my chest
