Alone in whole crowd
Lost

In this house of strangers, I am alone,

Surrounded by faces, But I feel alone.

I try so hard to fit in, to be who they need,

But there's a hole in me that no one can see.

I miss my Daddy's hands, gentle and warm,

His voice, his love, a shelter from any storm.

Now I walk on this path, trying to be strong,

But in my heart, something feels so wrong.

I give my all, and stay kind,

But a piece of me is lost, left behind.

I try to make them proud,

But in the quiet moment, I feel like a heavy cloud.

I wear my smile, play my part,

But no one knows the ache in my heart.

I cook, I clean, I laugh, I share,

But still a part of me isn't there.

The love I give feels like it's never enough,

The role I play is really tough.

I want a moment, just for me,

To be the daughter I once used to be.

In their eyes, they need the perfect wife,

But in my eyes, I'm losing my life.

I try so hard to make this my home,

But from inside I still feel alone.

I give them my best, all that I got,

But what about the girl who has been forgot?

I keep pretending but it's breaking me,

But who will ever truly see me?

I am the girl who misses her father's face,

The one who's still searching for her place.
