Jesus Is King of Kings

Scripture: Luke 22:47-24:10, Revelation 17:14b

Scripture Verse: “He Is Lord of lords and King of kings.” Revelation 17:14b

Attribute: Invisible. We can’t see God.

Main Truth: Jesus Is the Kings of kings.

Story: “One, two, this is true, God loves me, he loves Ruth/Naomi/Boaz.” Pause. “Our hands we fold, our heads we bow, so we can talk to God right now. Thank you, God, for bringing…here today. And thank You for sending Jesus, our King of kings. Amen. Does anybody know what book this is? This book is the Bible. Everybody touch the Bible. Can you say Bible? The Bible is God’s Word and it’s the truth.” Sung verse one of The Bible is a Treasure book. “The Bible tells us Jesus Is our King of kings.”

1) “ Mean people wanted to stop Jesus.” Picture of Jesus, stop motion.
2) “They put Jesus on a cross.” Bring out wooden cross, let kids touch it.
3) Hold up picture of Jesus. “Jesus died on the cross.” Put picture behind back, trace teardrop on face. “But” lean forward, “Jesus did not stay dead.”
4)”Jesus came alive again!” Pull out picture, be excited, big motions.
5) “One day, Jesus will get rid of all God’s enemies. An enemy is someone who doesn’t love God.”
6) “Jesus Is stronger than anything.” Make muscle.
7) “Jesus Is the King of kings.”

Questions: “What book is this? This book is the Bible. Who is the King of kings? Jesus Is the King of kings.”

Verse: To God Is So Good. “Jesus Is Lord of lords and King of Kings, Jesus Is Lord of lords, and King of kings. Revelation 17, verse 14, Jesus is Lord of Lords and King of Kings.”

Songs:

“God sent Jesus. God Is good.” God Is So Good. Use “God gave us Jesus.” Bells.

“Jesus trusted God and He obeyed God.” Trust and Obey. Eggs.

“God sent Jesus to save us from sin.” We Thank You, Loving Father. Ribbons.

“God loves us and Jesus loves us.” Jesus Loves Me, Jesus Loves Me.

Quiet time: Jesus Loves Me. Talk about Jesus being strong and review verse. Discuss being invisible.
