In 2008, my sons biological father tried killing me. He stabbed me nine times much more.

Each scar tells a story that time won't erase,
A heart once so tender, now where's a cold face.
Drowning in memories that cut just like the knife,
In the battle for breath, I'm fighting for my life.
The silence of night, where memories creep,
I remember the moments, that haunt me in sleep.
His eyes turned black, a storm in his soul,
Each piercing stab, he shattered me whole.
With a grip so tight, couldn't break free,
Torn from the light, where hope use to be.
Four long days in a cruel embrace,
Each moment a battle, no hope to chase.
Scarred on the surface, but deeper inside,
A heart full of sorrow, my spirit has died.
Every whisper a dagger, each touch a lie,
Drowned by despair, I learned how to cry.
The darkness surrounded, I called out his name,
But silence responded, it played me like a game.
In the ruins of trust, I'm struggling to stand,
A broken reflection, a soul out of hand.
Nine times, I fell beneath the weight of his hate,
Bound in the echoes of a love turned to fate.
Taped down in the shadows, where hope's hard to find,
I'm trapped in the whispers, I'm losing my mind.
The laughter we once shared, now feels like a lie,
A prison of sorrow where dreams go to die.
Yet in the dark corners, a flicker remains,
A spark of resilience fighting through pains.
From the depths of despair, I'll rise from the fall,
For my son needs the strength of a mother's call.
