It's good to dream. but dreams without the strength to protect or achieve them are useless |
Once a kid dared to dream of flying, a thought deemed to be silly in his days Then he grew up to be a man of talent, carefully engineering his idea to come close to moonlight and sunrays And it worked! he made his pair of wings and took to the sky Racing for minutes with the wind, considered the first human to fly He survived, but still had a hard landing Yet his dream was fulfilled, and that was barely the beginning In another corner of history, people dreamed of peace and prosperity To break free from the shackles of oppression, to reunite once again with their liberty Lives were lost, blood was spilt, and limbs were torn Yet hope was entrusted in every step of the way, for there was so much to fight for that cannot be just thrown And in the end the call for freedom was answered, and the price was paid The fight was over, and peace was finally attained One dream was built upon the strength of mind The other upon the courage despite being many times in a bind That is the side people often ignore about dreams: they start with motivation, yes But are only realised with dedication and work, else to mere ideas they regress Dream, but understand what do you need for it first Otherwise, you're just hallucinating, and I hope you get the gist Be careful though, as some dreams are curses in disguise Even if you can reach them make sure before that they won't cause your demise And once you've gathered all the pieces, pick yourself even the most impossible of goals Keep them in both mind and heart, never abandon them, like a scholar holding on to his scrolls Either you live to see them or die trying, don't mind the time and how fast or slow it flies Offer yourself to that dream for you may perish, but a dream never dies |
