You’re a Dead man walking, Pete
that’s the word on the street
time for you to lawyer up
or perhaps to booze-up?
New Prompt: I have another challenge for you..."Clerihew"
Write one Clerihew - the topic is yours to choose.
Edmund Clerihew Bentley invented this form.
This form is not that difficult to try. You have to keep just a few rules to write the Clerihew right.
The Clerihew is four lines long.
The rhyme scheme is:
A/A/B/B
In the first line you have to name a person; and the second line ends with something that rhymes on that name.
The Clerihew should be funny.
There is no restriction in syllables or meter.
Example:
There she stands, our heartless Ann
She embarrasses people when she can
And if you screw up, she says with no blink:
“You are the weakest link!”
