I can't stop it anymore.

I make jokes,
They laugh,
I smile in the background.

I tell stories,
They laugh,
I laugh along in confusion.

I write satire,
They laugh,
I point at the glaring pain.

I try to better myself,
They joke,
But I'm not laughing along.

I ask for help,
But they come out as jokes,
But still everyone's laughing.

I climb the ladder,
Of this cellar I built,
But they've locked the door.

I bang on the door,
They don't hear me,
the laughter is far too loud.

I make jokes,
They laugh,
I cry in the background.
