Provided the uniforms

And pride…

Those catapulting winds of forces
Extending the feathers in the caps
Of these unforgettable heroes…

The truest inception
And dedication of acumen,
Faith, camaraderie
And awesome bravery

As a knowing and loyal participant
In America’s patriotic, historic endeavors…

In foreign tours of duty
To obfuscate the enemy
From overrunning our nation’s freedom -
In the days of atrocious assault
Upon our distant shores,
And the affirmed infamy
Of our existence
As a storied nation…

A day to remember
Our spirited nation’s central voices -
Service persons who perished
In the execution of opportunities
And engagements during wartime theater

For America’s epic resolve
And altering the balance
Of those intense
Global conflicts
Peaking over the horizon
At our patriotic,
Persistent countenance.
