I want to escape

City of light,
city so bright,
beguiled my mind away.
City of mirrors,
full of horrors,
my heart is in decay.
Distant souls,
black as coals,
love is so gray.
Dead, alive; alike,
havoc in the psych,
To leave you, I pray.
