I miss the snow. I wish it‘d would visit more often. A poem.

In the cloudy sky,
After the day went day,
The snow starts its race,
Down to earth in full grace.

Then we see in the morning,
That it wasn‘t rain pouring,
But thousands of flakes,
Which is all it takes,
For the white landscapes.

And when the kids wake up,
After a chocolate cup,
They run outside,
To build snowmen with pride.

And those cover the city,
Because it‘d be a pity.
Since humans pulled the lever,
And gave the earth a high fever.

So let‘s enjoy our white time,
And make a drink out of the lime,
‘Cause we can only do our best,
And others pick up the rest.

(Written while stuck in class, forced to sit still as the first snow of the year fell after we thought there‘d be none at all.)
