War has left us broken and tired
Exposed and vulnerable

We seek a new way
Acceptance of all, regardless of difference
Not just seen, but also acknowledged
Taken as gifts we bring to the table

Polite discourse murmurs as
Each person gets a say
All words and opinions have merit
Considered
Equal
