about our struggles with good and evil, right and wrong and how we fight it

I tell the Demons to leave my sight but all they wanna do is fight.

Night after night and face to face, my happiness they do erase.

They take all that I love and need and fill it with their endless greed.

They never seem to go away and all they want to do is play.

They ask me why night after night I stand up to them prepared to fight.

I tell them I will not retreat, until in victory I defeat.

The Demons stand and say goodnight, tomorrow then another fight.

They tell me they will go away if at there feet my soul I'd lay.

I tell them I will never give them that.

The Demons stand and tip there hats.

They say I haven't got much time until I am swallowed by the grime.

I tell them they will never win, I've been forgiven for my sins, and I will always stand and fight, because from the darkness comes the light.
