In 1982, Sam Adams had a big decision to make.
He had been chasing a dream for eight years
He had dreamt of meeting and marrying
The lady who haunted his dreams
Ever since he first saw her.

In a dream, when he fell asleep
In a boring physics class
On a hot spring day
In Berkeley, California

He told her that
She was waiting for him
In far-off Korea.

So he joined the Peace Corps
To find her.

He finished the Peace Corps
Took a job teaching for the US Army
Chasing a fairy tale romance.

He had decided to return to the States
To go to graduate school
At the University of Washington.

He was about to give notice
And get ready to move back
When he had the final dream.

That night she walked of a bus.

The next night, she appeared
At his base, said they had to talk
He had to decide whether to stay
With her following his dream girl?
