Internal Memory It Can Last for Eternity

Endless information that is infinitive and goes beyond what any can imagine

A keyboard was laid out on a desktop,
In front of the desk was my doorstep,
It was behind a keyhole that was locked,
“This keyhole can’t unlock itself on its own, I must use this key to unlock it,”
Opening the door, it swung like a pendulum that hit the back wall, so loud it nearly thudded,
The keycard did not have to be molded, it was inserted into a drive that was hard and solid on the outside, but full of knowledge on the inside,
A ninety-degree angle that bent open laid on a desk, it contained internally abundant memory that could last for eternity longer than any mortal body,
Gleaming on the desk was an open tablet, it took me to my assignment,

“All the math, and distractions I can use to relieve boredom is right where I hover, the way I interpret it may be different,
This device can be used as a weapon to retain endless information that is infinitive and goes beyond what any can imagine,
Sitting on the edge of my seat from the sound of each tap and snap of each button and knob and roll that the blade of the pointer on my screen brings me is what I have been waiting for all day,
My desire to roam and click will never decease, it is never obsolete, only the physical will deteriorate, but the internal memory will last for as long as this planet still stays,
