The attack on the vehicle carrying the witnesses and the felons to be tried there.

CHAPTER 2

I woke with a start, I flung the comforter off my body and looked at the clock to see that it said,”11.00”. I was wearing a corset with lace cups. Last night was fun with Janice! God, the things she could do with her body. I reached climax as she worked her magic on my body.

I had to get to the laptop now. To see if the security had been able to start the drive to the courthouse. I had to see what was happening. I prayed it would work. Looked promising so far. What could go wrong? I questioned as I saw them enter the carriers.

I saw the soldiers walking into the armored personal carrier. The soldiers seemed at ease. I smiled, thinking nothing could go wrong! The bases are covered, the empire would be able to call the game. With ease.

The troops stepped inside the armored personnel carrier, it had a machine gun at the top of the carrier, with a man manning the gun, there were three armored personal carriers moving through the gates of the HQ. The entrance way was without anything to stop them from going through this way. I looked at the scene, nothing looked wrong there. Nothing happened I was relieved.

The entrance way was without anything to stop them from going through through this way.

I walked toward my coffee maker, turned it on. I poured a cup of coffee, the steam rose from the cup, put cream into my cup, and some sugar. My lover did not like cream, she was gone to work already. She was a shining light in my life. The laptop was carrying the feed that the world would see now showing the street seeing several officers there one was in plain clothed officer named Jena Cuta others dressed in armor watching the street.

Seeing a woman carrying a briefcase. She dropped it. I watched her for the moment. She flashed a smile to Jena. Her hair was platinum blonde to her elbows in length. She wore a white satin blouse with a red sequenced thigh length skirt.

We wanted the people to see this trial. It would clear up the matter that hung about our necks. The people were able to see the evidence we had on the felons who were to be tried here. I smiled. Why had she drop the case. She was moving quickly away.

Another shapely woman knelt down. She wore a micromini silver skirt, and black sequin tube top with a red jacket.. She opened the case. Lifted the launcher, put the launcher to her shoulder.

An armored soldier John der Kock fired at her. The beam caught her on the chest. She did not seem to notice this happening?

“What happened? I pulled the trigger didn’t I?” , he said as he flipped the switch to activate the safety on the rifle.

The launcher was held steady. She fired the launcher. The explosion should have driven her backwards head over heels, but she didn’t move an inch.

A security officer armor lifted his laser rifle to shoot her, when he saw her do this. The laser hit her on the breast. She should have fallen. But she still stood there as if nothing happened. I think I saw a flash of grey where the laser touched her. Blood should have been pouring from the wound. No blood stained her blouse.

There was something wrong with what I saw. There should not have been anything grey on her body should there? It did not make sense to me. Perhaps she was an android. That did nor make sense. I stared at the woman as she rose from where she knelt. She dropped the launcher into the bag hoisted it up and carried it with her.

“I shot her! I tell you! She hasn’t fallen! What the hell is going on here!” ,I heard his voice over the communicator.

The officer did not take an instant to fire upon her. He stood there staring at her. She moved with such grace that was unimaginable. It was almost as if she turned and raced down the sidewalk as if the laser hadn’t hit her.

“What the hell is the laser working?” , he said as he pointed at something to shot at. He pressed the trigger and the object now had a hole in it where the beam struck it.

A plain clothed officer drew up his machine pistol to fire a suppressive barrage at the other woman who had just arrived at the door. The bullets struck her, he and I witnessed her blouse shift per each bullet striking her. The bullets should drive her from her feet to the ground. She did not move so much as a muscle in reaction to the bullets. The bullets should have
tore through body. They were armor piercing rounds.

The officer said,”What the devil is happening. I know I hit her. I saw the blouse jerk with each bullet.”

I snarled, “Damn it!”

Ground my teeth. I was frightened upon seeing this happen. It made a little sense until I saw this. The beings are unable to be stopped by bullets and laser fire. That defied common sense.

Glaring at the screen, I swung my fist. I trembled a bit.

I waited a moment as the woman stepped inside the store. The customers and the staff looked horrified at her. Their mouths hung agape. Some even pointed at her. Another soldier lifted his pistol to point at her.

She smiled and sauntered toward him, she closed her hand about his pistol barrel crushing it in her hands.

The officer tried to fire at her, the bullet tore out into the air missing her. She broke his arm, throwing aside. Crashed through the glass window to arrive on the street. He dived to the ground

The other woman arrived there as well in less than an instance.

Jena hefted up her firearm. She knelt down to fire at them as they raced toward the escalator. The officer fired. The women did not notice it.

They went down to the basement. Charging toward where the street met the building. The customers were shoved out of the way.

The officers chased after them. They lost them in this cloud. I said,”Turn on your ultra violet visor and see what you can see? Belter turn on your Infrared visor.”

I saw through the visor of the plains clothed officer, nothing other than violet light showing what was before him. There were images of dust rising across the room. There should have been an image of three of them as they advanced toward this area.

“They’re not there?” he said.

Belter looked at the region where they had run. He saw three balls of red where their heads should have been on their bodies. He should see where their core was, it would look like a yellow hue, but it wasn’t there. It did not make sense, the ir should have shown the area.

I could see both of the images from their visors. None of it made sense, there should not hav e been a cloud of dust in the air. There should be a wall where they were headed. The other people in the basement looked about in confusion. They raced away from the officers as they moved toward the street.

I closed my fist, glaring at the screen. I did not know how the two women could be still standing much less moving. It did not make sense, They should’ve been killed. How could they still be a live.

I wanted to find out what had happened. I was watching through the visors of the two soldiers there. Running after the two women who ran through the cloud of white powder. I did not know where they had gone. There should not have been anything beneath the street there.

“What the hell is that?” The plain clothed one said as he looked at them race through the cloud of dust.

“I think it is a rail car!” The other officer said as he fell to his knees, to lift up a grenade launcher to fire it at them.

“A Rail! There shouldn’t be any there?” I exclaimed as I watched the grenade explode before them both. The grenade should have cut their skin to ribbons. The shrapnel hit them, but it did not go anywhere to impede them.

Another voice came over the communicator, It was MIcMicheal he was a brilliant officer, his right hand was cybernetic, having lost that in a fight. “What do you mean a rail? There is no rail cars that have gone through the area/

“Well. that was what I see here?” The armored officer said as he raced toward the rail.

It was a wall of earth, that was just beyond the walls of the store that was there. Yet I saw the two people running beneath the store’s front. I was puzzled as I watched them race a way from the security force there.

From what I saw, there was a vast area beneath the store that was before them. My ears heard a sound coming from where they were. It sounded like one of the monorail cars was moving there. There was no way a monorail could be here. There was no way that the monorail cars could be there.

I saw a violet object ahead of them as they raced toward it. I saw a white light appear in the vast enclosure there. It was about twelve feet above the ground, beneath four feet that would be the possible rail of the monorail that should not be there.

The rail began to move away.

The security fired at the rail and the red balls that rose above the rail, and was inside the rail cars. Their bullets and laser beams did not do anything to it. The armored officer threw grenades at the car. The did not reach it. Exploding in the area where they were showering the area with shrapnel from the grenades.
