Yesterday's Sunset

Such a beautiful painting in the sky yesterday afternoon, as the sun set in the west. As I walked out of Costco on Market Place NE, I looked up and was utterly taken aback by the mixture of colors and patterns stretching across the sky.

I sat down on one of the pillars and gazed upward for nearly ten minutes, captivated. My focus must have been so intense that a young woman stopped and asked what I was looking at. I smiled and told her, "The sky, the sunset."

She looked up and was immediately struck by its beauty. She pulled out her camera and began taking pictures, staying there for several moments before heading into Costco.

It was truly a fantastic sight to behold.
