how it began with the sacrifices made.

A man tiredly walks up the stairs into an ancient forgotten shrine thought to be myth by many now finally proven to be otherwise. This temple a relic from the past its purpose thought to be forgotten except for one knowing what this shrines is what it holds. Few have set there eyes onto it but thankfully this shrine will finally be used for a different purpose. A purpose to bring in a new age for this world.

The man walks up the stairs mumbling to himself,

"Starting over is never easy ,but you have to have a strong will not to be broken by the environment that puts you down and tries to poison your mind from the truth."

A dark voice whispers to the man,

"Your journey has been long. Your will power will grant you a great reward."

The man walks through this open space in the temple his footsteps echoing as he admires the elegant pillars in this space. As he trudges forward he comes across a door pushing it opening entering a room with 3 statues. The statues on the left and right are demons in chains as they look to be struggling trying to escape. In the center a statue of a man sitting in a throne in the middle staff in left hand and a orb in the right the room gives off dread yet the man is not shaken from his path as he moves to the center of the room dropping his pack a load thud echoing as it hits the floor.

The voice whispers once more,

I know you won't disappoint me free me and you will receive what power wish to have and more.

The man opens his pack as he begins to place items in a circle in the center of the room. He places 6 orbs containing the different elemental magics of air, earth, fire, water, light, and darkness. He takes out a deformed skull a green gem embedded into the forehead of it as he places it over the orb of darkness. The man sets the book of Dezgan Blackflame a cursed relic in the center of the room. The man flips to a page a spell of higher summoning. He stares at the page a smile spreading across his face as He prepares himself and takes out a dagger holding it and gently pressing it against his stomach. The man begins to channel magic as he says,

Great god Darrixith god of shadows and outcasts I have come to set you free from your prison in exchange grant me power to be seen so I may no longer be forgotten and help me inspire the dammed of this forsaken world!"

"There is many sacrifices in this world to make, but one sacrifice I must make to change this world is I must forsake my future to receive this blessing of power to change this world. My body of flesh is weak and shall be of no use to me any longer grant me strength beyond this mortal vassal.

As the man finish his spell he stabs himself in the stomach no hesitation as he grunts in pain, and begins to bleed out his clothes soaking up some of his own blood as the rest pools out on the ground around him. He looks forwards and sees the center Statue begins crack open. The statue stands up concrete breaking off from the figure and slamming into the ground as it stands up with a smile as a thunderous voice fills the room a hint of joy in its tones it says,

"FINALLY! A worthy champion has come before me after so long and set me free!"

The now free god moves forward as it stands over the man. The statues of the demons awakening as concrete breaks off as well, and they look at there master addressing the mortal before there master as they begin to stir in there chains. he looks down at this lowly man and says,

"You've done many things to help me awaken from my confines, and for that I owe you a great debt human. I shall grant your power at a price of course. Also know that you will now be branded a traitor by the other gods for helping me, but you will have my watchful eye my new champion."

The man bleeding out suddenly feels a burning sensation from his stomach as his flesh begins to be stripped from his bones as this happens the man howls in pain as fire spreads quickly purging his flesh. The clothing he had burning to ash, except a pendent with a blue jewel around his neck, the pendants jewel begins to change blood red now void from the mans body. As this happens the god combines the 6 elemental orbs into one and placing it upon the staff he is holding as he rams the gems into the one currently atop the staff a flash appears as the staff now holds a whole orb green in color emanating dark pure power. The god then takes the green gem from the skull then proceeding to crush the skull. He then slams the jewel down the middle of the orb as the orb absorbs the dark energies from this stone splitting the orb in half. With all this he uses some of his divine powers to make a god level artifact to his helpful accomplice. The Man stands up in his new skeleton form crafted from the gods gracious blessing as the god smirks saying,

"Yes rise and claim your other just reward my champion."

He says as he hands the staff to the newly born lich. The lich grabs taking hold of the staff as he feels power surge through his bones. A feeling he never could've imagined. The newly born lich looks up at the god as he begins to disappear along with the demons the room saying,

"I watch your deeds with high interest don't disappoint me now."

The newly born undead laughs as he prepares his next move. Kings on thrones rule nations but let greed, corruption, cruelty go unchecked choking its citizens killing what good once filled the realm. The empires and kingdoms of mankind are my enemy now they must fall. The next great war of this world shall be started and ended by me, and from it a new world will rise a world where from the depths of despair a new era of peace and prosperity can begin.

"Hardship has made me the man I am today. I am now no longer a man of spite rather an abomination with a grand plan to change this world for the better."
