Garlic rhymes with Limerick, so it had to be in limerick!

Sarah was in the seventh heaven
Mom said she could use the oven!
She'd bake a cake for her Dad
To make him so glad
It was the best gift he could be given!

So she set about it real quick
All his favourite things she did pick
Chocolate, strawberry, coffee
Almonds, raspberry, toffee
And two heaping spoons of garlic.

Dad being a sporting fellow
Didn't turn green or red or yellow
He took a bite and chewed
And managed not to be rude
He didn't even bellow!

"That's nice, my little dearie
But next time, check the recipe
Some things mix, other's don't
Some you'll repeat, others you won't
Next time you bake a cake for me!"
