Southward hundreds of miles

Monster winter storms began

As the ice cap replenished
And began spreading southward

Sam Adams was a meteorologist
Stuck outside Nome, Alaska
Covering the monster storms
And almost died in the storm

But was finally rescued
And gave his report
Which went viral
As the new ice age

Began in earnest
In the year
That became known
As the Ice Man Cometh Year.
