Coffee Creamer

Drink the real thing.

Flo sighed with annoyance as she watched her sister, Candance, pour sugar free French vanilla creamer into their older sister’s coffee.
“You won’t get away with this,” Flo stated as a matter of fact.
Candance rolled her eyes and said: “Kat is not going to know the difference.”
Flo shook her head in disbelief.
“How is she going to know? Unless you tell her!” Candance said. Flo threw her hands up.
“I will have no part of this. You and Kat are always at each other’s throat. Some sisterly love!”
“What do you know? You haven’t been here for as long as I have. Kat has always found a way of making me feel bad.”
“And giving her sugar free creamer in her coffee is, what, going to punish her? Oh yeah, Candance, you real bad!” Flo responded sarcastically, laughing at Candance’s ridiculous motive.
“Just go away and keep your mouth shut.”
They could hear footsteps approaching. Kat entered the kitchen and reached for her cup of coffee.
Flo could see the anticipation from Candance’s eyes.
Then Kat walked towards the sink. “Nice try, sis,” Kat said as she tossed the coffee down the drain.
“Hey! What gives?” Candance said with exasperation.
“Next time you want to win one over me, make sure you put the evidence away,” Kat said with a smile. She pointed towards the bottle of French Vanilla coffee creamer sitting on the table.
Flo laughed and Candance cried out in frustration.
“You almost had me. Nice try, though,” Kat said.
“I will have my day of victory!” Candance said.
“Maybe. For now, let’s go get some food. My treat!” Kat said.
All three girls went for breakfast and enjoyed the rest of the day.
