Eight line poem

VOYAGE POEM


Cast adrift upon the river Nile,
Moses in his basket floated for a mile,
Unaware. That is how we all begin to live,
Innocent of what life is going to give
On that voyage through the years.
It will be full of laughter, tears and fears.
There will be times when some will wish us harm.
Let’s pray we reach the end in waters calm.
