Billy Goats’ Revenge

The troll sat under the bridge his ears pricked for the sound of hooves.
“They should be coming any time!”
He had just finished saying this when he heard the cacophony of hooves on the bridge he claimed. He climbed up the side to confront a goat trio called George, Gordon and Greg.
“Who’s that crossing my bridge?” he roared. The three goats stopped and put their horns down menacingly.

George asked: "Who are you that thinks you can stop us?” Gordon chimed in: “We’ve done nothing to you, back off!” Greg added: “You don’t look like any toll taker I know.”
The troll was taken aback by the resistance. He began to jump up and down on the bridge to frighten them.

The three goats laughed goatishly. Greg said: “We can do better than that, we can make this bridge rock, for we’re the famous Goatees.”
The troll was stopped jumping and stared, then said: “Never heard of you. Rock and roll goats? Let’s see it!”
“The roadies are following behind with our equipment, but we can do accapella if you like,” George said. The troll nodded and took a seat on the wooden rails on the top of the bridge. It groaned under his weight but held fast.

“Okay, boys! Hit it! “Gordon said, tapping a beat with one front hoof. They danced to the beat of their song, kicking the boards of the bridge as hard as they could with every step.
The bridge began to shake and tremble like it was being hit by an earthquake. The troll was so into the music he didn’t notice. The goats danced off the bridge just as it collapsed into splinters and dust, burying the troll completely. From then on, goat was out of his diet.
