Motivation for Publication

About the Contest:

We chose three magazines that were accepting submissions for publication: Wired, Succeed and Home Education Magazine. Members were to choose one of those magazines and write an article about Writing.Com.

Instructions were:
Write this article from your perspective as an active member. Let others know how you use it and how you've seen other people use it. Have you made friends here? What benefits does this community have for you? Why should others be using it as well? What makes this place unique? Why have all the other writing sites died and we're still here?

Beyond the obvious factors of grammar, spelling and clarity, we also judged the articles on how well they were written for the chosen publication. Out of nearly 50 submitted entries, we chose the articles that we felt best represented Writing.Com, our achievements and our goals.
