I wrote this for a Poet's Palace Assignment. Sad, but very true for me right now.
Moving

Memories, sweet memories, of this place…
Of time spent here bring a smile to my lips,
Veiling the tears I hide and fears I feel
Inside at the thought of moving away.
Needing to move, yet dragging my feet.
“Good-bye “, I whisper, through my tears.
