The future lies with you

As i look upon the world, I see hunger and pain.
But no matter what I try to do, it seems to remain the same.
Whether its broken heart lovers...to a starving child.
I sit and question how the world got to be so wild?
Drugs, pain, sex, and tears rule over the world today.
And I wish and hope there is a chance they might all fade away.

I ask my mom why the world is this way.
But she just seems to care less from day to day.

So if we all try a smile as we pass by...
mabey another child will not be forced to cry.
If we all try an act of kindness, and do our best to give.
Then I believe the world shall be a better place to live.

So if you are like me and worry theres nothing left to do..
