This is assignment 6 for Poet's Palace


Anger is a white hot piercing rod of pain
That I have only felt once in my life.
It absolutely terrified me.
I would be healthier today if I had allowed
Anger's heat to burn me more often.
But, it sears and scorches my very soul.
This frightens me beyond words.
So, as you feel the healthy burn of anger...
I will continue to feel
Deep, clawing sadness and
Manic frustration
In its' place.
