We bought this place,
the house is small,
But we don't really mind at all.
The yard is filled full of treasures,
Frogs, flowers, and fallen feathers.
When I look out to the barn,
I see years and years
of love and charm.
It needs paint,
Yes it's quite old,
But the smiles it's given,
are many hundreds fold.
That's not just from us living here,
Many memories have been told
by those passing by,
and have shared so dear.
The neighbors are all clean, strong, and good.
They mind their own business,
as neighbors should.
But when anyone of us needs a friend,
Every neighbor around
offers a hand to lend.
I love this farm,
this place quite dear.
I hope tomorrow
will find us still right here.
