Clouds be pushed away
As he sees the day
Marvel at the sunlight
Reflecting so brightly in his eyes

All pain forgotten
All beauty begotten
The age of innocence begins
Under this bouquet of pale skin

A wondrous life to live
So much love to give
Beauty so new and fresh
Lies beneath this tender flesh

First steps to be taken
First foods to be eaten
First kisses to be given
So much to believe in

As this new being
Comes into my life
I see the longing
