Romance is like an artesian well. It springs unexpectedly from some deep sequestered source in the bosom of earth.
Man and woman alike have become the effect of such thirst quenching waters only to desire more.
Seems strange that once the waters of this well flow over the barren upper crust of earth, it loses it's purity and soaks into the ground beyond one's grasp.
In time, one learns to capture a cup of that sparkling water and sprinkle it fervently upon the heart's innermost garden to nurture the seedlings of a relationship desperately reaching to pierce the surface of the topsoil.
And in time, with gentle hands forever cradling and protecting the fragile stems and roots of love, a giant oak grows strong.
So thus grows romance with diligent care and nurturing through time. The storms of life may tear up surrounding countryside, but steadfast stands the solid oak, deep-rooted in the earth from whence it came.
